As a Myers-Briggs INTJ, I am project-oriented by nature and am happiest with my head down planning and creating. Just give me your points A and B, and I’ll get busy using my wide range of creative and operational skills figuring out how to connect the two in service of your vision and purpose. Some people play Sudoko to relax, I dive into competition research and dream up business plans (really, just ask).
I have a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design and carry with me a broad set of skills including graphic design, print and digital advertising, digital media strategy, event planning, public engagement, and program management. I’ve built an internal start-up call center from scratch, drafted and executed marketing initiatives in large metro areas like Minneapolis, Baltimore, and San Antonio, produced multiple sold-out events, and have designed bus shelters, social media ads, fundraising campaigns, and full-scale brand identities.
In addition to my freelancing roles, I also work as Communications & Engagement Manager for Gender Justice and serve as on the board of Our Justice, a local Twin Cities-based abortion fund founded in 1967.
A few lifetime highlights: I’ve driven I-35 start to finish all the way from McAllen, Texas to Duluth, Minnesota, went to the U.S. Supreme Court as the plaintiff in the landmark abortion rights case Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt, and was once told to "please be quiet" by Arcade Fire’s Will Butler (he’s a very polite Canadian…I obliged).
Please feel free to contact me about any of the above or to start a new project together.
